Customer’s wish

Is to create a discord bot that finds Roblox games with specific keywords and filters using scraping tools like drissionpage and requests.

Bot should also support different settings like setting prefix for the command, change delays, roles.

The Process

A unique process was created using Python and scraping tools. The Discord API was also used and linked to the scraper.

To get some game information and statistics, hidden Roblox API requests were used with a fake Roblox account.

Solution

With additional feedback and bug fixes, a really powerful bot was created that scrapes all the games with the specific keyboards and posts them to the discord server.

This project showed once again that automation tools are becoming more and more useful.
